Pierce explores the topic of the passage of time from God's perspective. As readers discover how the Creator enters time to connect with believers, to show when they're out of step with his agenda, and to reveal the future, they'll see time as a gift from God, not as a curse.Publishers Description
Have you ever noticed how often we use the word "time" in our everyday conversations? Not only are we acutely aware of the passage of time, but our speech is also littered with references to it: We kill and waste time. Time flies, or sometimes it crawls. We refer to time in countless expressions and figures of speech. Chuck Pierce tackles the subject of time specifically as it relates to God and our relationship with Him, addressing some transcendental questions such as, how can we tell when we get "out-of-step" with God's timing? Pierce moves readers from viewing time as a philosophy or a curse to seeing it as a real gift from God, presenting a new reality of space, time, spirit and truth as they advance through the pages. This book is for everyone who wants to take back their life, take their place above the linear timeline, and learn to live on earth influenced and empowered by an eternal God.

I do not over estimate the power of words and the power of God's revelation.. This book gave me much conformation and topics on which
to meditate upon. I grew after reading this book, spiritually..and
naturally. I am looking forward to his next one on the topic of time.
I enjoyed this book Jun 14, 2008
I had a very different opinion from the previous reviewer. I quite enjoyed this book. He does cross reference his other books, but in all fairness it should be pointed out that he references books from other authors as well.
The only recommendation I can make is that spiritual things should be savored, not swallowed whole (not to imply that's what the previous reviewer did!). There are a lot of scriptural references in the book, and I think it's worth meditating on them as well. The thing I would stress though is that no minister is for everyone. That said, I think this book is awesome!
I read it, but still don't know what it's about May 26, 2008
This is the first time I've read a book by this author.
It's also the first time I've EVER given a poor review of ANYTHING.
I hate to do it, especially for a "Christian book", but it really was that bad.
Interpreting the Times intrigued me because I was recently reading the bible verse speaking of Redeeming the time.
This books description clinched the sale for me. It definitely described something I wanted to read.
The problem is, what is in the description and back cover isn't actually in the book at all!
It was a very difficult read to begin with.
Not that I didn't understand it, but because of the fact that the author made broad jumps from one subject to the next and these subjects rarely related to time. (or to each other)
There were also umpteen references to other works written by the same author. It was like reading a book with a commercial break every so often, to advertise another book.
There were alot of scriptures (nothing related to the subject of this book), alot of quotes from the authors other works, and alot of WORDS.
I'm an avid reader and have never seen someone able to put together a 218 page book that says absolutely nothing....until now.
I won't be buying from this author again.
