Reviews - What do our customers think?
Outside of the Box Jun 3, 2010
Joseph Prince has out of the box thinking and it will challenge you in a lot of areas. If you're not afraid to have even your religious traditions challenged and grow in the things of God this is a must read! I've learned a lot of things for reading and listening to him.
One key thing I have gotten out of this book is - in the Old Testament when you took your sacrifice to the priest to be forgiven of your sins the priest did not examine the one brining the gift he only examined the lamb that was to be slain for the forgiveness of sins. This points to Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. Remember God's not looking at your sins He's looking at the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world - past, present, and future! That's all of them before there even was one committed!
Finally the Truth - favor comes from the payment Jesus made! May 31, 2010
Thank God for a TV Preacher who finally gets it and is bold enough to put it in writing. At last the truth, our Favor comes from the payment Jesus made on the Cross. For years it has been taught that the believers tithe payment is the only way to get God to grant his favor. They fail to teach that God and Jesus freely gives us all things after the payment Jesus made on Cross.
This book details the favor God has bestowed on us because of the payment Jesus made on the Cross.
What a divine revelation for those in Christ who never understood their New Covenant privileges!
This means our blessing is our inheritance because Jesus paid it in full on the Cross for us. New Testament Bible Scriptures (after Jesus went to the Cross for us), verifies this for a fact.
How wonderful it is when my statement and bill says "Paid in Full". Seems easy enough to understand, in my way of thinking paid in full means nothing else is owed. (Not even ten percent of the gross).
This book implies that Jesus purchased our Salvation, and then some. Jesus also freely gives us all things. Praise his glorious name! No guilt no pressure, no condemnation over self efforts. Cults & false Religions are big on their own self efforts and the belief that they must merit their favor from God. For New Testament Christians we have been given the gift of Grace. Grace means Favor that has not been merited or earned. People because of pride want something to boast in. We should only be boasting in the Jesus and his Cross. His Payment not ours.
Someone is teaching the truth, (Pastor Prince) that we can ask God in faith for favor in Jesus name and he will give it.
American Pastors don't hate but appreciate this truth and teach the body of Christ to financially give to worship not to pay or buy what was already bought at the Cross for us.
To quote Malachi 3 to the body of Christ is wrong! Redeemed Gentiles cannot be cursed for not keeping any Jewish Old Covenant mandates. They were never given to us to begin with. The New Covenant is far superior than the Old according to Scriptures, no one could fulfill the law perfectly but Jesus.
Hebrews 8:6 "But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises".
Hebrews 8:7 "For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another".
Galatians 3:11 "So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life."
Galatians 3:12 "However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."
Galatians 3:13"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree"
Galatians 3:14 "This happened in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the gentiles through the Messiah Jesus, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith".
The majority of Christians are not aware of what the paid in full payment Jesus made includes. Prayerfully meditate on the above bible verses. Unless you have been totally brainwashed you will get it.
How many Christians understand that there were 613 requirements of the Old Covenant law?? Jews had to keep all of them day and night. They controlled who Jews could marry, what they could eat, go, wear and do. To break even one canceled out the blessing and could bring a curse.
Jesus fulfilled the whole of the law for us and thank God there is finally a book that teaches that faith in the payment Jesus made is what gives you grace and favor. The tithe requirement was only one law out of hundreds.
James 2:10 "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it".
God respects and is satisfied with the one payment that counts, it is the payment Jesus made on the Cross for his redeemed. We can believe Jesus when he said three little powerful words: "PAID IN FULL" as in "IT IS FINISHED."
New Testament instructions after the Cross is that Giving should be voluntary. It is a Holy act of Worship however, it should not be taught that we must pay with money for our favor. This is an offense to the payment Jesus made and the free grace he gave us. It is wrong to teach the keeping of one law over the others just to manipulate people into tithing.
All Cults teach to work to try to gain favor from God through self efforts. Favor in all things is a free gift from God paid for on the Cross, just as Salvation is a free gift.
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?"
Pastor Joseph Prince should be commended for teaching the truth to New Testament Believers in Christ.
One bone of contention is that I have heard him in the past support Old Covenant tithing as still a required ordinance. After writing this book why is Pastor Prince an advocate of one of the mandatory Old Covenant tithe law (which was before the New Covenant-Dispensation of Grace)and not all others?

The Truth will set You Free May 10, 2010
Joseph Prince preaches the Covenant of Grace, radically and makes it very clear that one is left without doubt.
He uses Biblical scriptures for support. This is a preacher who is truly a messenger of God to lead us to the truth and embrace the Covenant of Grace, understand the perfect love of God, and receive what is ours as heirs.
I have experienced miracle after another after reading the TRUTH!
Indeed, the truth will set us free.

Unmerited Favor by Joseph Prince is amazing and gives inspiration and hope to everyone. The favor of God truly is amazing and this book opened my eyes to the favor God continuously bestows upon me. Many things we take for granted as just something good that happened was really God's favor. I am grateful for this book and I love it and have recommended it to others.
